This four-movement work for 5-octave marimba and violin take the players through 4 distinct moods and movmements, include Introduction & Tango, Air, Scherzo, and Finale. Inspired by music ranging from the violin sonatas of Bach and violin concertos of Mozart, to the marimba works of Keiko Abe and Musser, the work is diverse, challenging, and rewarding for performers and audience.
